Project Statement
"Operation Luna" is an immersive experience that aimed to take our audiences to the future of Earth in 2073, when the planet is no longer livable and humans are forced to explore the possibility of colonizing other celestial bodies. As civilian astronauts, the audiences will take on a mission of documenting the construction of the moon colony.
The experience involved a departure from Earth, a journey through space to the Moon, an experience of the transformative Overview Effect, and a glimpse of a partially developed lunar outpost.
Beyond the experience itself, we wish to inspire people's reflections on the future of human civilization, and build a stronger bond and appreciation between people and our home planet, Earth.

Experience Sequences
To create a fully immersive experience, participants will first be gathered in a Briefing room, surrounded by posters that set the tone of the futuristic world for a pre-experience session. Boarding passes were handed out, and the participant "civilian astronauts" were escorted to the Enhanced Immersion Studio for the rest of the experience.
The experience began with announcements in multiple languages from countries with strong space programs. As participants got comfortable in the space, the immersive content was displayed on surrounding screens. Two crew members in the room served as guides and narrators for various dialogues in the experience.
Afterward, participants reflected on the future of human civilization before heading to a Debriefing room. In that room, participants scanned a QR code leading to a survey to express their thoughts and feelings about the experience.

Boarding Pass
The boarding pass will be handed to audiences in the briefing room before the experience starts. The participants can scan the QR Code on the pass to access the survey once the experience is over.

Posters & Screen Graphics for Briefing Room
The posters are posted around the briefing room to create the environment that allows the audiences to get immerse into the scenario we created more easily.
The images used in the posters are either AI generated or from NASA image database.
